Academic Programming

The University of Utah is thrilled to be hosting the vice presidential debate on October 7, 2020 and we invite faculty and staff to help make it a success.

We would like to know how U colleges, departments and units are incorporating the vice presidential debate into fall programming. This could be anything from focusing multiple class sessions on the debate and election to covering it briefly as part of existing course topics. This may also include co-curricular opportunities for students, faculty and staff to engage in and experience the debate event. We have heard from several professors, ranging from architecture to political science, about the creative ways they are integrating the debate into their syllabi -- we are excited to learn more!

Please help us track and communicate all of the creative academic programming taking place around this once-in-a-lifetime campus event.
